Introduction to Underwater Photography CourseI’d love to help you take really great photos underwater!

Whether you are just about to buy your first camera and have no idea where to start, use a compact camera or are a seasoned underwater photographer looking to improve your skills or learn a new technique.

I’m here for you!

I offer a number of hands-on, interactive workshops at Indigo Scuba in Gordon’s Bay (Cape Town, South Africa) as well as regular online workshops. As there is an indoor heated swimming pool at Indigo Scuba, we can also practice our skills in the pool. We can also go diving and review your photos afterwards!

I also offer one-on-one training and image review to help solve any problems you might be encountering in your underwater photography journey.

REVIEWS

Olympus TG Course

This has been a real eye-opener. It’s been great to have such practical advice and instant fine-tuning help. My favourite part of the workshop was the easy, friendly free-flow of information and advice and great presentation of the material

Catherine Corder

Olympus TG Course

I feel more confident to shoot with just the equipment I have… but also excited about maybe going further.

Alison Beere

Olympus TG Course

Brilliant! Learnt a lot and hopefully I will make it beyond the “fish”. The proof will be in the recall under pressure, under pressure. I loved the interaction between participants and Kate. Nice and casual despite the amount of information dispensed.

Tanya Pitcher

Olympus TG Course

I wish I had done this course months ago! It solved my main problems. I loved all of it!

Leonie Joubert

Olympus TG Course

This course has absolutely helped! I have a much clearer understanding of the settings and a better understanding of the camera itself. I particularly liked the dialogue and ability to ask someone who has used the settings and worked out the kinks questions.

Michelle Beechey

Olympus TG Course

I am excited to get in the water to test drive what I have learned! I think it will help in a huge way. My favourite part of the workshop was understanding ISO / Shutter Speed and Aperture and the help with base settings.

Yvette Oosthuizen

Olympus TG Course

I feel I have overcome my struggles with my camera. I now understand the settings and access to adjust them manually. Now I need practice! There were many things I didn’t understand about the TG and now I know them better. The flow of the course was relaxed and focussed (pun!) at the same time. It was nice to actively work with the settings.

Carl du Preez

Olympus TG Course

This course has definitely helped me so much! I understand a lot more and am glad to be in control of the camera on A!  Thank you!
