I’m keen to get going now that I have a far better understanding of settings, and how they can influence the results!
I started this having some variable results, and this was because I didn’t know what all the settings actually did. Now I’ve got the camera dialled in for both macro & wide, it’s going to be interesting to see what I can do.
Composition wise, I think I already knew the basics, but the information on strobe positioning is very interesting. I tended to just point the strobe at the subject. Now I understand that it’s more about the cone of light, and getting this to hit the subject without lighting up the water in between.
It’s been a great course, full of useful information and set out in manageable blocks – and all the better for it being specific to my particular camera!
