I recently took the TG7 Made Easy course as my first step into underwater photography. The course was incredibly useful, and I applied everything I learned on a recent dive trip to Lembeh, which made a huge difference compared to the photos I’d been taking before the course (even though I’d thought they were good at the time… ).
After the trip, I booked a 1:1 coaching session with Kate to go through some questions I had and look through some of my photos, to get a better idea of my progress and where I can go from here.
It was very helpful! Kate answered all the questions I’d been struggling with and showed me where and how I could improve my shots. I love taking & editing photos, but I wasn’t always sure if I was getting the angles and composition right, if I was overdoing the editing, or if the RAW shots were good enough in the first place… so the session clarified a lot for me.
She also sent me notes covering all the points we’d talked about, which I think is super thoughtful and definitely something I’ll be going back to frequently.
I feel very lucky to have the chance to be guided by such an amazing photographer like Kate, and I can’t wait to continue these sessions after future trips and through the next stages of my photography journey.
